BLAST Analysis

As expected, the BLAST analysis from the four isoforms all resulted in similar outputs. Additionally, the BLAST programme was used to find the BID protein sequences in other species which were then used in the MSA analysis.

Isoform 1

Isoform 1’s BLAST results are in the linked pdf file to the left. As one can see above, the BID superfamily motif is identified.

Isoform 2

Isoform 2’s BLAST results are in the linked pdf file to the left. As one can see above, the BID superfamily motif is identified.

Isoform 3

Isoform 3’s BLAST results are in the linked pdf file to the left. As one can see above, the BID superfamily motif is identified.

Isoform 4

Isoform 4’s BLAST results are in the linked pdf file to the left. As one can see above, the BID superfamily motif is also identified.
